Not Everyone Should Hire Me

Good.

I'm not trying to be everything to everyone.

If you're looking for someone to churn out AI-generated blog posts, write fifty LinkedIn updates before lunch, or hand you a prompt library and call it a day, I'm probably not your person.

Here's the truth: I'm a stronger writer and editor than you, AI, and—most importantly—the two of you working together.

Not because I'm smarter.

Because it's what I've spent the better part of the last two decades doing.

I've written, rewritten, positioned, and refined communications for brands, executives, frontline employees, customers, and everyone in between. I've learned how different audiences think, what earns their attention, and what makes them trust what they're reading.

Meanwhile, you bring something I never could: deep expertise in your field.

You know your business. Your industry. You understand the nuance, the context, and the stakes in ways I never will.

That's exactly why we work well together.

It's kind of a "when our powers combine" situation (Captain Planet fans, you're welcome).

You bring the expertise.

AI brings the speed.

I bring the editorial judgment.

AI is remarkable at eliminating the blank page. It organizes ideas. It generates a first draft in seconds.

What it doesn't bring is judgment.

It doesn't know when a sentence is technically correct but emotionally flat. It can't tell when you've buried the lead, softened your strongest point, or accidentally started sounding like everyone else using ChatGPT.

I know how to shape prompts that produce better first drafts. More importantly, I know how to challenge what AI gives back. I recognize the subtle decisions that make writing sound like you—not just grammatically correct, but authentic.

Most people teach AI what to do.

I help people teach AI how they communicate.
